I'm a lifelong learner who loves breaking down how things work—whether that's a mechanical toy, a bird's behavior, or a new hobby. My passion for birds started with backyard observation and grew into a genuine interest in bird photography, identification, and the surprisingly diverse world of bird-related activities. When I'm not outside with binoculars or testing gear, I'm sketching or tinkering with projects in my garage. I find real joy in figuring something out and then explaining it clearly so others can too. My golden retriever, Scout, is my constant companion on nature walks.
